Mexican street corn

  


 Mexican street corn, also known as elote, is a delicious and easy-to-make snack that's perfect for any occasion. Here's a recipe that you can try:


Ingredients:

- 4 ears of corn

- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise

- 1/4 cup of sour cream

- 1/4 cup of cotija cheese, crumbled

- 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder

- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

- 1/4 teaspoon of salt

- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro

- Lime wedges, for serving


Instructions:


1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.


2. Peel the husks off the corn, leaving the stalks attached. Remove the silk from the corn.


3. Grill the corn for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are tender and lightly charred.


4. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, cotija cheese, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.


5. Brush the mixture onto the grilled corn.


6. Sprinkle the chopped cilantro over the corn.
